The Hated Design in iPhone 17 Pro Has Become Important to Users for This Reason

Khaberni - There is no doubt that the camera island, also known as the "camera plateau," is the most controversial design element of the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max, with many users describing it as bulky and visually annoying.

However, the irony is that this hated feature has now become the focus of a new trend on the internet.. through stickers!

Sticker craze
Reports from multiple accounts on the platform "X" indicate that "Apple" Korea has launched a short advertisement promoting placing small stickers on the camera plateau of the iPhone 17 Pro.

The initial reactions appear positive, especially among sticker enthusiasts in Asia.

The stickers vary from images of cats, food, flowers, video game characters, hamsters, and more, but they definitely target an audience that already enjoys this hobby.

New Design and User Attraction
For several years, iPhone Pro models have maintained a fairly consistent design.

As the iPhone 17 launch approaches, many critics have written that there is a desire for a distinct design, whether it is attractive or strange; the important thing is that it stands out.

Indeed, the iPhone 17 Pro has responded to this change. However, many, even longtime Apple fans, express their rejection of it, primarily due to the large and visually annoying size of the camera plateau.

Are stickers a solution?
In fact, placing stickers on the plateau might seem like a temporary fix but is counterintuitive.

Those who criticized the size of the plateau due to its bulky design, placing five cat stickers on it will not make it less prominent; on the contrary, it might increase the sense of clutter on the back of the phone.

Potential Risks
As some users of "X" point out, the sticker experiment could backfire, with frequent questions appearing on platforms like "Reddit":

- "How do I remove sticker residue from my phone?"

- "Why did the paint layer peel off when removing the sticker?"

This is not new to Apple users, as some Mac computers have gone through a similar experience, and it seems that phones will soon follow the same path.

If you love stickers, beware of placing them on your precious phone, as they may cause scratches or peeling of the paint.

And the best way to avoid any problems is simply to avoid stickers altogether, lest a temporary fashion turns into a permanent problem.
