Khaberni - Throughout the year 2025, the Zain Innovation Platform (ZINC) continued to cement its presence as an incubator for creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship in Jordan, a center that supports ideas, and provides youth with what they need to develop their skills and projects, making this year an exceptional one that witnessed expansions in partnerships, innovations in programs, and an effective presence at the most critical conferences and events organized in the Kingdom.
The platform started the year 2025 by launching its new digital platform (ZINC.JO), which represented a significant step towards keeping up with digital transformation and harnessing technology to enable young entrepreneurs to access opportunities and expand their network of relationships. This platform - which thousands have benefited from since its launch - gathers all parties involved in the entrepreneurship ecosystem; entrepreneurs, youth, students, mentors, experts, and founders, providing them an opportunity to connect, learn, and develop in a single environment, as well as to keep up with events, share achievements, schedule meetings, and benefit from the necessary mentoring services to support their projects.
The year 2025 saw the launch of the new version of the "Zain Initiative" program - one of the most significant annual programs launched by the platform to support creators and startups - through two tracks for entrepreneurial ideas and startups. This year, the Zain platform provided support worth 75,000 dinars, with 15,000 dinars for each entrepreneurial idea, and 10,000 dinars for each startup, along with a full year of incubation and logistical support. The current version included three entrepreneurial ideas: RehabLex, LeafleX, and UNIFLIX, and three startups: Bab Plus, OrganicG, and Avancer AI, bringing the total number of companies supported by the platform since its inception in 2014 to 253 startups, while the next version of the program will offer 100,000 dinars for ideas and startups.
One of the highlights of the year was the unveiling of the final version of the startup ecosystem report in Jordan for 2018–2024, a result of a collaboration between Zain Platform, Wamda Company, and Beyond Capital investment fund. This report has become a national comprehensive reference for the entrepreneurship journey in Jordan, launched during a special evening under the patronage of the Minister of Digital Economy and Entrepreneurship, Engineer Sami Samirat, with the presence of decision-makers, investors, entrepreneurs, and representatives of supporting institutions, and is now available in both Arabic and English on the Zain Innovation Platform website (zinc.jo).
Zain Innovation Platform also enhanced its strategic partnerships, reaching about 150 strategic partners, notably its ongoing partnership with the Crown Prince Foundation, which resulted in the creation of a joint innovation platform in Aqaba in 2025, and expanded its geographical presence to support the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem in the southern region. Through its platform for innovation, Zain provided sponsorship as a strategic partner for the second edition of the Manufacturers Forum, and announced its strategic partnership for the "42 Irbid" program specializing in computer sciences and programming, launched by His Highness Prince Hussein bin Abdullah II, the Crown Prince. The platform also sponsored the "Connect 2025 - Dialogue on Reality and Aspirations" forum, held under the patronage of His Highness the Crown Prince and with broad participation from youth and decision-makers.
In partnership with the Queen Rania Center for Entrepreneurship at Princess Sumaya University for Technology, the platform renewed its partnership for the fifteenth edition of the Queen Rania Award for Entrepreneurship and sponsored events of the 17th Global Entrepreneurship Week in Jordan, which organized a series of training sessions in all its branches across the Kingdom, benefiting around 1,381 young men and women from students and entrepreneurs.
Zain Platform also boosted its role as a strategic partner in the most important conferences organized in the Kingdom, where it provided sponsorship for the "Institutional Excellence in an AI-Led Environment ExAI’25" conference in Petra, alongside its sponsorship for the Conference and Exhibition on Progress, Innovation, and Technology in Cybersecurity (C8 2025). Through these events, two startups supported by the platform - Avancer and Skids - had the opportunity to showcase their innovative business solutions in the fields of cybersecurity and artificial intelligence to attendees and participants from companies operating in the same field and investors for the purposes of networking and exchanging expertise and knowledge. The platform also provided the opportunity for Algebra Intelligence and Darbcom to participate in the JIFEX 2025, Jordan's International Conference and Exhibition on Shipping and Customs Clearance and Logistics Services, held in Aqaba with broad participation from major shipping, transport, and logistics companies locally, regionally, and internationally, and in the presence of decision-makers and sector experts and innovation leaders.
The platform participated in the regional edition of the entrepreneurial program Zain Great Idea - one of the most prominent platforms for accelerating technology startups in the region - launched by Zain Group, through organizing intensive training camps for participants. Avancer.AI from Jordan - which specializes in detecting digital content forgery and media fakes - qualified for the global acceleration stage in Palo Alto, California, specifically in Silicon Valley, the global capital of entrepreneurship, to undergo the global acceleration experience.
In the field of supporting the emerging generation of youth and university students, the platform continued to implement the Jordanian Young Entrepreneurs Society program (YESJO) for students in public and private schools, aiming to develop students' skills and talents in technology and innovation and enhance their entrepreneurial and creative thinking to prepare them as active participants in Jordan's entrepreneurial community. The program was implemented this year at four locations, including the platform’s main branch at the King Hussein Business Complex in Amman, its branches at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Mutah University in Karak, and its branch in the Aqaba Governorate - Arab Revolt Plaza, with the participation of 89 students. Additionally, the platform organized a wide range of workshops and training and dialogue sessions in its university branches, delivered by a group of local and international trainers and speakers, attracting thousands of students, reaching nearly 400,000 beneficiaries by the end of the year. The platform also provided support for several university events, notably the Mutah Entrepreneurship Hackathon organized by the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Center at Mutah University, with the participation of 114 students.
