Khaberni - The Public Security Directorate called for adherence to the necessary precautionary guidelines and proper behavior during the low pressure system expected to impact the kingdom starting from tomorrow, Thursday.
It emphasized the necessity of staying away from the sides of valleys and areas where floods form and low-lying areas, especially in the north of the kingdom and parts of the western central regions.
It also stressed on being cautious while driving on roads experiencing rainfall to avoid slips and the need to stay away from water gatherings and not to risk crossing them on foot or by vehicles.
The directorate urged the necessity to follow safe behavior when using heating devices of all types, not to refuel them while they are ignited, not to leave them lit while sleeping, and to provide appropriate ventilation for homes.
It warned of the danger of strong winds and the accompanying strong gusts and the reduction of horizontal visibility due to fog and low clouds touching the ground surface especially over mountainous heights and plains and due to dust in desert areas.
It called for not hesitating to call the unified emergency number 911 if needed.
