Khaberni - An Israeli official said on Thursday that a serious event had been monitored in Iran without knowing its implications.
Israeli Channel 12 reported that the official said: "We are monitoring a serious internal event in Iran and it is too early to know its consequences."
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed with U.S. President Donald Trump the possibility of a second round of military strikes against Iran during 2026, in a meeting held between them on Monday, according to a high-level American official and two American sources familiar with the details of the meeting, conveyed to Channel 12.
According to the sources, Netanyahu expressed to Trump Israel's concerns about the reconstruction steps being undertaken by the Iranian regime after the 12-day war that broke out last June, considering that additional strikes might be necessary to prevent Tehran from rebuilding its capabilities, especially in regards to the nuclear and missile programs.
