Khaberni - The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation stated that Israel is preparing to open the Rafah crossing in both directions, following the return of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu from the United States.
The Corporation added that “American pressure to open the Rafah crossing continued over the past few days,” coinciding with meetings Netanyahu held in the United States.
On Monday, Netanyahu met with U.S. President Donald Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, where they discussed a number of issues, including the situations in the Gaza Strip and the occupied West Bank, as well as developments in Syria, Lebanon, and Iran.
