Khaberni - During the New Year's celebration at Mar-a-Lago in Florida, US President Donald Trump revealed his wish for the new year.
In response to a question about his wish for 2026, Trump said: "Peace on Earth," the same wish he had during 2025 at the start of his second term, a period marked by extensive international conflicts.
Trump's statement comes at a time when his administration is facing increased international military tensions, especially with Venezuela. During his first year back in power, Trump faced the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, in addition to negotiations between Russia and Ukraine.
The former US president has previously claimed responsibility for ending several wars around the world, although media reports have indicated that some of these claims were premature.
