Khaberni - Spanish media revealed that Algerian Ibrahim Maza is now within the circle of interest inside FC Barcelona, as the winter transfer window approaches, with increasing monitoring by the club's scouts Catalan of the player who attracts attention during his current participation with his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Mundo Deportivo newspaper reported that Barcelona is closely monitoring the levels of Maza, a 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who is under contract with Bayer Leverkusen of Germany.
Reports indicate that the club's scouts Catalan are planning to follow the player during Algeria’s match against Equatorial Guinea in Group Five, where the Algerian team leads the table with maximum points.
Maza is distinguished as an offensive line player, capable of playing as an advanced playmaker, or as a second striker, benefiting from his high skills in dribbling and his ability to advance the ball smoothly and confidently.
In his appearances with Bayer Leverkusen this season, Maza has scored four goals and provided three decisive passes in 21 matches across various competitions, enhancing his status as a promising player in the German team's ranks.
Leverkusen signed him last summer from Hertha Berlin for 12 million euros, with a contract extending until 2030.
