Khaberni - A news report stated that Vladimir Petkovic, the technical director of the Algerian football team, was extremely angry due to some Algerian photographers chasing his family members, especially his daughter Lea, during their attendance at the "Greens" matches in Rabat as part of the African Nations Cup held in Morocco.
According to the Algerian newspaper "Al Khabar", Petkovic expressed severe annoyance at what he considered unacceptable behavior by a number of Algerian photographers, and he did not hide his dismay at these actions, especially after repeated chasing of his daughter and attempts to photograph her closely, even asking for statements and pleading for a "word" from her.
The newspaper revealed that Lea Petkovic appeared in several circulating video clips trying to avoid the photographers and hide from the camera lenses, to no avail.
According to its sources, after Lea Petkovic's repeated unsuccessful attempts to avoid the cameras, she decided to inform her father about what she was facing, which angered and disturbed him, leading him to intervene and request the media official at the Algerian Football Federation to take action to put an end to what he described as "invasion" of his family life.
The media official, as reported by the newspaper on Tuesday on the sidelines of the press conference preceding the Algeria vs. Equatorial Guinea match, explicitly called on photographers and journalists to respect the privacy of the Petkovic family.
