Khaberni - Al-Wehdat team was crowned champions of the Under 19 Elite Clubs Youth League after defeating their counterparts Al-Baqa'a 2-0, in a match held today, Wednesday, as part of the continuation of the eighth round matches.
The Deputy Secretary-General of the Jordan Football Association, Faleh Al-Daaja, handed Al-Wehdat the championship trophy and the first-place medals, in the presence of the President of Al-Wehdat Club, Yousef Al-Saqr.
Al-Wehdat settled at the top of the Elite League standings with 22 points, followed by Al-Faisaly with 19 points, Al-Hussein with 17, Sahel Houran with 13, Al-Baqa'a with 12, and finally Al-Arabi with one point.
The second round competitions of the Under 19 Elite League were held in a two-phase league system, home and away, with the championship title awarded to the team with the highest number of points.
