Khaberni - The Anti-Narcotics Department of the Public Security Directorate dealt with approximately 22,000 cases of trafficking, possession, and use in 2025, according to a statement issued by them showcasing their major achievements.
The statement revealed the seizure of 3 tons of hashish, 31 million Captagon pills, 4 kilograms of cocaine, 101 kilograms of crystal meth, 119 kilograms of marijuana, and 10 kilograms of synthetic hash powder.
The statement also referred to the implementation of awareness programs and campaigns aimed specifically at the youth, to protect them from the dangers of this serious scourge.
The Criminal Investigation Department dealt with 11,780 criminal cases, of which 11,183 were solved, marking a detection rate of 95%, and handled 74 murder cases, all of which were solved. Additionally, they dealt with 27,000 cyber crimes, contributing to the enhancement of the justice system and reinforcing a sense of security and peace in the society.
In concluding their statement, the Public Security Directorate affirmed their continued commitment to service and achievement, improving the level of security, humanitarian, and community services in line with the aspirations of the Hashemite leadership, enhancing community trust, and preserving the security and stability of the nation.
