Khaberni - The Minister of Water and Irrigation, Eng. Raed Abu Al-Saud, affirmed today, Wednesday, during a tour of the King Talal Dam facility with the Secretary-General of the Jordan Valley Authority, Eng. Hisham Al-Haysa, and the engineers and technicians in charge of the dam, the importance of continuing the measures taken and the preparations in dealing with the ongoing rainfall in the kingdom's areas and coordinating with various relevant parties to ensure necessary actions and to raise awareness and warn citizens and farmers in areas below these dams during rainfall and flood flows according to the prepared plan.
The minister was briefed on the operations carried out by the technical staff to ensure the smooth flow of water in the valley, instructing to pay necessary attention to operation, maintenance, monitoring, and protection of sources, emphasizing the necessity of full cooperation and coordination with all institutions and parties.
