Jordan The government decides to reduce fuel prices for next January

Khaberni - The government decided today, Wednesday, through the oil derivatives pricing committee, to reduce the price of oil derivatives and the selling price of kerosene effective from the first of January.
The decision came after the committee's monthly meeting, which is allocated to determining the selling prices of oil derivatives locally for the period from (1–31 January), where the government directed to reduce the price of kerosene to 590 fils per liter instead of 620 fils.

The committee reviewed the global prices of crude oil and oil derivatives during the current month of December and compared them with those of the previous month of November, showing that global price rates have decreased for gasoline of both types (90 and 95) and diesel.

After applying the pricing formula according to global prices on all oil derivatives, the committee found a decrease in the price of 90 octane gasoline by (20) fils/liter, a decrease in the price of 95 octane gasoline by (25) fils/liter, and a decrease in the price of diesel by (60) fils/liter.

Accordingly, the oil derivatives pricing committee decided to reduce the selling price of 90 octane gasoline to become (830) fils/liter instead of (850) fils/liter, reduce the selling price of 95 octane gasoline to become (1055) fils/liter instead of (1080) fils/liter, and reduce the selling price of diesel to become (645) fils/liter instead of (705) fils/liter.

The committee also decided to keep the price of the domestic gas cylinder (12.5 kg) unchanged at 7 dinars per cylinder.
