Khaberni - The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed today that Jordan is closely following the developments in the situation in the brotherly Republic of Yemen, and emphasized its support for all efforts aimed at reducing escalation, ensuring the security, stability, respect for sovereignty of Yemen, and fulfilling the aspirations of its brotherly people.
The spokesperson for the Ministry, Ambassador Fouad Al-Majali, affirmed the Kingdom's appreciation for the commitment of the brethren in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to the security, stability, and sovereignty of Yemen, and their approach to the current situations in Yemen and addressing all issues on bases that ensure its security, stability, and meet the aspirations of its brotherly people.
Al-Majali confirmed Jordan's high appreciation for the wisdom of the leaderships of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, the brotherly countries, in handling the situation in Yemen and their approach that embodies their historical positions and their keen efforts for the brotherly Yemen, and for the security of the region and its interests, and enhancing the values of brotherhood, partnership, unity, and Arab solidarity.
Al-Majali emphasized the Kingdom's firm position in supporting the legitimacy of Yemen and all efforts aimed at reaching a comprehensive political solution that ensures a secure stable future for the Republic of Yemen that meets the aspirations of the brotherly Yemeni people, preserves the security of the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s neighbors, and enhances overall security and stability.
