Khaberni - The Civil Defense Directorate dealt with (1383) different ambulance cases in the past 24 hours, and civil defense crews controlled (37) fire incidents while the rescue teams responded to (208) accidents.
Civil Defense media officers, led by Captain Abdullah Al-Saudi, reviewed the most significant incidents they managed in Zarqa Al Rusayfah, including a fire that erupted inside a home within a room. They reached the site, extinguished the fire, controlled it to prevent it from spreading, and dealt with resulting minor burns by providing first aid and transferring the injured to Prince Faisal Government Hospital.
He also added that civil defense teams also dealt with eight people in several provinces suffering injuries due to the improper use of heating devices, noting that most of these injuries were caused by using the Shamooseh heater.
He stressed the importance of adopting safe preventive behaviors when using heaters, including not allowing children to play near heaters, ensuring appropriate ventilation in homes, not sleeping with the heater on, and checking hoses and sealing gaskets.
At the end of his message, Captain Al-Saudi urged citizens to report any incidents through the emergency number (911) when necessary.
