Khaberni – The Arabic version of Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper revealed a recording of a negative index in population growth in the occupied entity for the first time.
The newspaper attributed this decline to an increase in the number of deaths, the continued decrease in birth rates, and the increase in the number of people leaving the country, leading to a decline in the population growth rate to less than 1%.
According to the Taub Center for Social Policy Studies in the occupied entity, the current population growth rate is the lowest since the establishment of the entity, indicating that the population growth rate never fell below 1.5% since 1950, before reaching about 0.9% in 2025.
The center expects the decline in natural population growth to continue in the coming years, given the current demographic indicators.
