Khaberni - A Jordanian citizen posted a picture on his private Facebook account announcing his appointment in a government department, saying:
After many years of working in the private sector, and as retirement approached, the unexpected news came to completely change the scene; an official appointment in the government sector, and finally seeing his name in the official newspaper, in a moment mixed with astonishment, laughter, and satisfaction.
The appointment came 19 years after graduating with a bachelor's degree and 13 years after obtaining a master's degree with distinction, in a striking paradox that reflects the long waiting journey experienced by many with high academic qualifications.
Despite legitimate questions about the logic of this late timing, the joy was still present, especially since the simple old dream of seeing the name published in the newspaper was finally realized, albeit belatedly.
With a satirical spirit, spontaneous questions were asked about the possibility of "giving the turn" or even "passing the job to the son," in a gentle reference that reflects the reality of the long wait and encapsulates the feelings of an entire generation between ambition and patience.
Thus, the appointment came late in time but is present with significant moral value, affirming that some dreams may be delayed but they do not expire with time.
