Khaberni - The Giza Criminal Court, held at Shubra Al Khaimah Court, ruled today, Tuesday, to imprison Pyramids player Ramadan Sobhi for one year with labor, on charges of forgery in official documents pertaining to one of the tourism and hotel institutes in the Aboul Nomros area in Giza.
Masrawy website reported that the court also sentenced the second defendant, who took the exam instead of him, acquitted the third defendant (security personnel), and imprisoned the fourth fugitive defendant for 10 years.
The Public Prosecution mentioned in the investigations of case number 6407 for the year 2025, Criminal Court of Giza Center, registered under number 548 for the year 2025, South Giza Principal Court, stated that "Youssef.M" a café worker, "Mohammed .E" a security supervisor at the Pharaohs Institute for Tourism and Hotels, "Ramadan Sobhi" a football player, and "Tarek Mohammed" a café owner, who are not public officials, committed forgery in an official document, namely the answer booklets of the third academic year's exams, purportedly issued by the Pharaohs Institute for Tourism and Hotels.
The Public Prosecution continued that the first defendant "Youssef. M", according to the case files, drafted and signed those documents, forging the signature as belonging to the third defendant "Ramadan Sobhi" with the collaboration of the second to the fourth defendants through agreement and assistance among them, by providing the first defendant with the necessary data to commit the crime in question, thus creating a forged occurrence to appear as genuine, specifically proving the third defendant attended and took the exams of the third academic year in the Department of Tourism Studies at the Pharaohs Institute for Tourism and Hotels, contrary to the truth. The crime was committed based on that agreement and assistance.
The Public Prosecution charged all defendants with forgery in an official document, namely the attendance and departure sheets of the examination committees for the third academic year subjects, purportedly issued by the Pharaohs Institute for Tourism and Hotels, by the first defendant signing the aforementioned documents, falsely attributing the signature to the third defendant, which was done with the collaboration of the second to the fourth defendants through agreement and assistance among them by providing the first defendant with the necessary data to commit the crime in question, thereby creating a forged occurrence to appear as genuine and proving the third defendant attended the exams of the third academic year in the Department of Tourism Studies at the Pharaohs Institute for Tourism and Hotels, contrary to the truth. The crime was committed based on that agreement and assistance.
