Khaberni - Media reports confirmed that player Joao Cancelo is preparing to leave Al Hilal squad during the upcoming winter transfer period.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano mentioned that the departure of the Portuguese player is now strongly considered within the corridors of the Saudi club, amid increasing European interest in his services and the desire of several clubs to sign him in January.
He added, "According to the circulating data, Italian club Inter Milan made a formal move towards Al Hilal, where direct contacts were made to inquire about the conditions of the player’s loan, with discussions on the structure of the potential deal in terms of duration and financial aspects, in an attempt to explore the possibility of signing Joao Cancelo during the second half of the season."
On the other hand, the interest was not limited to Inter alone, as both Barcelona and Juventus entered the negotiations in the past 48 hours, where both clubs communicated with the player's representatives and Al Hilal's management to understand his current situation and the possibility of completing a deal in the winter transfer market.
