Khaberni - In the past few hours, social media users have circulated a shocking video documenting the moment of an attempted kidnapping of a child on the streets of Kafr El-Sheikh in Egypt, in a scene that provoked widespread interaction.
The video, which lasts no longer than 30 seconds and captured by surveillance cameras, shows two children standing quietly on a street before a car suddenly pulls up next to them, and a person wearing a black mask gets out, trying to forcibly kidnap one of the children.
During the critical moments, the other child tried to cling to the kidnapped child and resist the perpetrator in a moving human scene, but the latter forcefully pushed him onto the ground, enabling him to kidnap the child and escape with him inside the car, amid screams of help at the scene, according to local media.

The clip sparked a wave of anger on social platforms, and many praised the courage of the child who tried to defend his cousin’s son, describing him as a small hero. Following the spread of the video, security forces at the Ministry of Interior intensified their efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident, as surveillance cameras were examined and the path of the used car was tracked.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Interior clarified that after investigation and tracking, it was possible to identify and arrest the person appearing in the video, who turned out to be the father of the child who was taken, and the car and its driver were also apprehended, who is a friend of the father.
