William plans to end Uncle Andrews role before King Charless death

Khaberni - A royal affairs writer claims that Prince William, the heir to the British throne, seeks to end the remaining role of his uncle Prince Andrew within the royal family, before the death of King Charles III who is receiving cancer treatment.

According to Andrew Morton, author of "The Heirs: The Rise and Fall of the House of York," Prince Andrew is living in a state of increasing anxiety about his future, with his previously enjoyed influence and protection waning. Morton said in an interview with Page Six that Prince Andrew "will no longer be protected," adding that it will be Prince William who "will deal with him directly."

Morton noted that the heir apparent "wants to resolve this matter," anticipating that Andrew will be asked to completely step away from the royal scene by next spring. However, he also suggested that Andrew, 65, would show strong resistance, with demands involving a large residence and a full staff.

The second son of the late Queen Elizabeth II had been stripped of his royal titles and forced to leave his former residence "Royal Lodge," in the wake of his association with the convicted late Jeffrey Epstein. He is now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, while his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson has lost the title of Duchess of York.

Andrew's case resurfaced with previous allegations from Virginia Giuffre, who claimed he sexually assaulted her while she was a minor, charges he denied before settling financially with her in 2022.

Morton confirms that he has received new testimonies from people who worked with or dealt with Andrew, discussing controversial behaviors, considering the loss of his "Prince" title as a harsh blow to his identity, as he previously defined himself as "a prince before anything else."
