Khaberni - Ala'a Dirania, the secretary of the Jordanian Currency Exchangers Association, confirmed that the local currency exchange market is experiencing a significant revival, driven by the holiday season of expatriates abroad and the increase in their remittances.
He indicated that there is a strong demand for the Jordanian dinar and a substantial supply of foreign currencies in the local currency exchange market.
He explained that this is due to the vacation of expatriates abroad, their travel to Jordan to spend their holidays, and their payments for obligations such as licensing and taxes, thanks to incentives and discounts on payments.
