The Director of Public Security inspects the Civil Defense and the Command and Control Center (911) and commends the response efforts during the weather depression

Khaberni  - The Director of Public Security, Major General Dr. Obeidallah Maaytah, visited the Civil Defense Directorate, where he inspected the workflow and the level of operational readiness, and reviewed the human resources preparations and plans for dealing with the weather conditions during winter, appreciating the significant efforts made by the Civil Defense personnel during the recent weather depression.

During the visit, Major General Maaytah listened to a detailed briefing in the main operations room of the Civil Defense, which included a presentation about the readiness of field teams and rapid response mechanisms for incidents, and the nature of dealing with various accidents, especially rescue, evacuation, and ambulance cases, as well as pumping out water accumulations and traffic accidents that accompanied the depression.

The Director of Public Security also visited the Command and Control Center (911) and listened to a briefing about the volume of reports received during the weather depression, the most significant incidents recorded, and the coordination and follow-up mechanisms with various formations of the Public Security Directorate and concerned agencies, ensuring quick response and accurate handling of emergencies.

Major General Maaytah lauded the significant and outstanding efforts made by all formations of the Public Security Directorate, which worked around the clock as one team, asserting that these efforts had a clear impact in maintaining the safety of citizens and mitigating the effects of the weather depression.

And the Director of Public Security emphasized the importance of joint work and integrated performance among various components of the Public Security Directorate, including police, civil defense, and gendarmerie, noting that this integration positively reflected on the level of service provided and its quality, and was evident during the handling of the weather depression, along with continuous coordination with ministries and relevant institutions and agencies during the winter season.
