Khaberni - The draw has placed Al-Hussein Irbid Football Team against Esteghlal of Iran, in the round of 16 of the AFC Champions League 2.
The draw took place on Tuesday, at the headquarters of the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur, where Al-Hussein team represents Jordanian football in this continental tournament, after Al-Wehdat stumbled in the group stage.

Tournament format :
The round of 16 matches are scheduled to take place during February, with matches for the western region on 10-11 and 17-18, and for the eastern region on 11-12 and 18-19.
While the quarter-final matches will take place in March, occurring on 3-4 and 10-11 for the western region, and 4-5 and 11-12 for the eastern region, followed by the semi-finals in April, where the western matches are held on 7 and 14, and the eastern matches on 8 and 15.
The championship concludes with the final match being a single encounter between the champions of the west and the east, on May 16, 2026.
