Khaberni - Sheikh Eid Al-Shawabkeh hosted the American ambassador in Jordan on Monday evening in the Abdaliyah area south of Amman.
It was noticeable that the ambassador ate mansaf featuring two heads in a scene that the Khaberni site sought to interpret.
Turning to tribal sources, it appears that the Jordanian host (the ma'zeb) deliberately places two heads on the mansaf in a public message of respect for the guest and honoring his high status, not to mention the extra generosity known among the clans of South Amman and all Jordanian clans.
