Khaberni - Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Monday that US President Donald Trump will be awarded the "Israel Prize," the highest honor in his country, for his tremendous contributions to Israel and the Jewish people.
During a joint press conference after meeting with Trump at the Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida, Netanyahu said, "Trump broke many traditions and surprised people by doing so."
He added, "Israel, in turn, will break traditions and will award Trump a prize that has never been given to any non-Israeli national before."
Israeli Prime Minister further stated that this step "reflects the overwhelming feeling of the majority of Israelis across the political spectrum."
Netanyahu stated that "The Israeli Minister of Education, Yoav Kish, officially informed Trump of the decision by phone during lunch."
