Khaberni - The Yemeni province of Marib, on Sunday, bid farewell to one of the most prominent figures in education and the teaching of the Holy Quran, with the death of Dr. Ali Mohammed Al-Sanani, inside a Quran memorization circle at Noora Mosque in the Rumeilah area, in an emotional scene that concluded his journey of scientific and advocacy contribution which lasted for years.
Close sources reported that Dr. Al-Sanani was sitting in his usual Quranic circle, the Holy Quran in his hands, listening intently to the recitation of one of his students, before his soul ascended to its Creator in moments described as blessed, while he was in a council of remembrance and teaching.
The deceased was considered among the prominent scientific competencies, having earned his PhD with first-class honors, and combined academic excellence with practical educational work. He also held the position of director of Quranic circles at Noora Mosque and was one of the main pillars in teaching the Quran and educating generations in Marib province.
Dr. Al-Sanani was known among his students and colleagues for his good character, humility, and dedication in performing his scientific and advocacy mission, which made him highly esteemed in educational circles.
Following the spread of the news of his death, sadness pervaded the community in Marib, and activists, students, and scholars mourned him with heartfelt words, considering his passing while holding the Quran and in a Quranic circle as an honorable conclusion and a testament to the sincerity of his journey, affirming that his loss constitutes a significant bereavement for the educational and Quranic field.
