Khaberni - Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov claimed that a Ukrainian drone targeted one of President Vladimir Putin's residencies in the Novgorod area, confirming that the incident did not result in any damage or injuries.
Lavrov noted that Moscow might reconsider its negotiating stance in the ongoing peace talks, pointing out that Russian forces have selected targets for "retaliatory strikes" in response to the alleged attack.
Conversely, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky immediately denied the accusation, describing the Russian narrative as "completely fabricated," and noting that this claim came a day after he met with US President Donald Trump for about three hours in Florida.
Simultaneously, other Russian statements carried a threatening tone, as the Deputy Head of the Russian Security Council said that Zelensky "must hide for the rest of his life," while the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized that the response "will not be diplomatic" and that Kyiv must understand this.
