Khaberni - Deputy Dr. Ibrahim Tarawneh sent a message to the Prime Minister, referring to the difficult conditions witnessed by Karak Governorate as a result of the recent weather depression.
Deputy Tarawneh stated that the intensity of the rainfall caused the collapse of some main and secondary roads, isolation of some residential communities, and the rise in the water levels on streets and neighborhoods, leading to some homes being invaded, posing a danger to the safety of citizens and their properties.
He demanded the immediate declaration of a state of maximum emergency in the governorate, and directed ministries and concerned institutions to take urgent actions and supply Karak with necessary equipment, including bulldozers, heavy machinery, and suction equipment, as well as specialized technical staff to ensure roads are cleared, collapses are managed, and lives are protected to prevent further damage.
The deputy emphasized the necessity of active field presence at the highest levels, affirming that the safety and security of citizens is a priority that cannot be delayed.
