Khaberni - The chairman of the Greater Karak Municipality Committee, Mohammad Al-Manaseer, announced the closure of several roads in the Karak Governorate, urging citizens not to travel on the Karak road towards the Jordan Valley, due to the danger of the current conditions.
The closure includes the following roads:
Al-Hawiyah Road in its entirety
Azra Triangle Road towards Marshal Habis Bridge
Marshal Habis Park Road towards the Old City
Al-Sayl Bithan and Burda Roads
Al-Thaniya Bridge
Al-Manaseer explained that the decision to close the roads was due to heavy rainfall and the presence of mountain collapses that pose a direct hazard to the safety of citizens.
He indicated that the Greater Karak Municipality is operating with all its crews and machinery, having been forced to rent 20 bulldozers and loaders due to the unprecedented heavy rainfall, in service of the local community and to protect the lives and properties of citizens.
The Greater Karak Municipality urges citizens to take the utmost precautions, avoid using closed roads under any circumstances, and adhere to the instructions of the relevant authorities to safeguard lives and properties.
