Khaberni - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Residing Abroad in Morocco, Nasser Bourita, discussed on Monday ways to enhance relations between the two kingdoms and developments in the region.
Safadi and Bourita confirmed during a phone call their joint keenness to expand the horizons of bilateral cooperation in various fields, reflecting positively on both countries.
They discussed several regional issues, foremost among them the situation in Gaza and the West Bank, and affirmed the necessity of adhering to the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip, fully implementing its provisions, allowing the entry of sufficient and sustainable humanitarian aid to the sector without obstacles, proceeding to the second phase of the agreement, and linking the achievement of stability to a clear political horizon that meets the rights of the Palestinian people.
They emphasized the need to end the serious escalation and the unilateral and illegitimate Israeli actions in the occupied West Bank.
The ministers agreed to sustain coordination regarding the development of bilateral cooperation and regional and international issues of mutual interest.
