Khaberni - Deputy Dr. Ahmed Al-Raqab criticized the management of the first deputy of the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Khamis Atiyah, in today's legislative session on Monday.
Ahmed Al-Raqab said that whenever Atiyah sits in the chair of the Speaker to manage a parliamentary session, he interrupts his colleagues, to which Atiyah replies, "I don't need your theorizing from you.".
This came after Al-Raqab said, "The government's hands have reached into the funds of social security," before Atiyah requested him to submit a memo or parliamentary inquiry if there is an illegitimate way to avoid baseless accusations.
Al-Raqab indicated that he does not want to cause an uproar during a significant legislative discussion regarding a draft amendment to the law on Waqf, Islamic affairs, and sanctities.
