Khaberni - The Development and Employment Fund in Ajloun Governorate has provided financing for 118 projects worth 1.6 million dinars since the beginning of the current year, which contributed to the provision of 244 job opportunities in the governorate.
Issa Awawdeh, director of the fund's branch, said that the fund's financing programs contribute to expanding the local production base and stimulating economic activity in the governorate by enabling citizens to implement income-generating projects that provide new job opportunities.
He added that the fund works on directing finances towards projects capable of continuity and growth, which enhances the participation of youth in the economic process and supports the shift towards individual initiatives and entrepreneurial projects, especially in priority production sectors.
He noted that the adopted financing policies consider ease of access for beneficiaries while complying with legal and regulatory requirements, to ensure the sustainability of the projects and protect the rights of the workers involved, reflecting positively on the economic and social development in the governorate.
