Khaberni - As part of the continuous efforts to enhance traffic safety, Saudi traffic departments across different areas of the kingdom carried out a comprehensive field campaign to control non-compliant motorcycles, from Sunday 21 December 2025 to Saturday 27 of the same month.
The campaign resulted in the seizure of 6,491 non-compliant motorcycles, led by Riyadh with 3,002 motorcycles, followed by Jeddah with 1,850 cases, then the Eastern Region with 611 cases, while Jazan recorded 300 violations, and Taif 130.
The campaign covered multiple areas, notably the Holy Capital (198), Medina (168), Asir and Qassim (71 each), Tabuk (27), Najran (15), and Hail (30), while lower numbers were recorded in the Northern Border (9), Al Qurayyat (7), Al Baha and Al Jouf (one case each).
The General Administration of Traffic confirmed the continuation of surveillance efforts to monitor violations related to motorcycles, stressing compliance with regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety of road users.
