Khaberni - Valencia club announced the death of Fernando Martín, the women's second team coach at the club, along with three family members after their boat capsized in Indonesia.
Valencia stated that it "feels deep sadness for the death of Fernando Martín, the coach of the women's second team at the club and three of his children, in the tragic boat accident in Indonesia, as confirmed by the local authorities".
Indonesian and Spanish authorities said last Saturday that Martín and three of his children were missing after the boat carrying 11 people sank in rough weather last Friday in the Strait of Padar Island near Labuan Bajo, a popular tourist area.
Fathur Rahman, the coordinator of the Indonesian Search and Rescue Agency in the area for Reuters, said the search continues this Sunday morning.
Real Madrid also sent condolences for the death of Martín (44 years old) the former player in Spain's second division and took over the coaching of the women's second team in Valencia this year.
The Search and Rescue Agency said in a statement that his wife and daughter along with four crew members and a tour guide were rescued and are safe.
