Teams Qualified for the Round of 16 of the African Nations Cup
• The Egyptian team was the first to secure qualification and the top of Group Two after a challenging 1-0 win against South Africa in the second round, bringing their points tally to 6.
• Nigeria sealed their spot in the round of 16 after defeating Tunisia 3-2 in the second round of Group Three.
• Algeria booked the third spot in the round of 16 after their deserved 1-0 win against Burkina Faso, on Sunday, in the second round of Group Five.
The African Cup includes 6 groups, with the champion and runner-up of each group along with the best 4 third-placed teams qualifying to the round of 16.
