900 Thousand Users for Hakimi App and Delivery of Medications to 145 Thousand

Khaberni  - The CEO of the Health Computing Company, Omar Ayyash, said that the number of active users of the "Hakimi" application has exceeded 900 thousand, while more than 145 thousand citizens have benefited from the monthly medication delivery service to their homes.

Ayyash added on Sunday that the Hakimi app provides a comprehensive package of electronic services that contribute to facilitating citizens' access to healthcare, including a medication delivery service, access to lab test results for the last 6 months, viewing radiology reports, in addition to the ability to book appointments at healthcare facilities, request health certificates, and print official vaccination certificates, without the need to visit health facilities.

He pointed out that the application allows patients to obtain the financial receipt and electronic receipt, eliminating the need to keep paper copies, as part of the move towards full automation of financial services.

Ayyash confirmed the launch of a new package of electronic services, including a service for booking follow-up appointments, currently available in 72 health facilities, alongside the expansion in issuing health certificates electronically.

He explained that the company recently developed the financial accounting system applied in more than 91 health facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Health, including 4 hospitals, aimed at managing financial billing operations accurately and quickly through an integrated digital platform.

He mentioned that the company, through the Hakimi program, has achieved a qualitative leap in the path of digital transformation of the Jordanian health sector over the past 16 years, noting that the program is now applied in more than 424 health facilities affiliated with the Ministry of Health and Royal Medical Services, including 51 hospitals, 118 comprehensive health centers, 244 primary health centers, and 11 specialized centers across various provinces of the kingdom.

It is noted that the Ministry of Health, in cooperation with the Health Computing Company, launched in 2023 the self-registration service in the Hakimi application, aiming to facilitate the process for patients and save time and effort.
