Khaberni - Mutah University has decided to switch students' attendance mode to online (remote) on Monday due to prevailing weather conditions.
The university also decided that staff working hours will start at 10:00 AM on Monday, except for those whose job nature requires otherwise.
Mohannad Al-Khatib, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated that the authority to postpone university schedules or switch to online learning rests with university presidents and is not a centralized decision by the ministry.
Al-Khatib urged students to follow their universities' websites or official platforms on social media.
The Meteorological Administration predicts that the kingdom will be affected by a new low-pressure system on Monday, with expectations of heavy rainfall.
