Khaberni - The security forces in Giza are intensifying their efforts to control a number of escapees from one of the addiction treatment clinics in Mariouteya.
Social media users are circulating a video clip showing numerous unemployed individuals escaping from one of the addiction treatment clinics on the Mariouteya road. The security forces in the Giza Security Directorate are examining the video, a report of the incident has been filed, and the public prosecutor's office has been notified to take over the investigation.

Major General Alaa Fathy, director of the General Administration for Giza Investigations, ordered an examination of the circulated video and formed an investigation team led by Major General Hani Shaarawy, deputy director of investigations in Giza. It was determined that the clip shows several unemployed individuals escaping from one of the addiction treatment clinics located on the Mariouteya road. The clip shows many of them trying to catch any means of transport on the road to help them escape.
In another part of the clip, one of the escapees is seen talking about how they were subjected to torture inside and that they had not eaten for 3 consecutive days, which led them to a mass escape.
