Khaberni - The Minister of Government Communication, the official spokesperson for the government, Mohammad Al-Momani, confirmed that the government is continuing its approach based on maintaining communication with the media and empowering them to perform their role on a professional and responsible basis.
Al-Momani, in a letter addressed to all ministries, institutions, and government bodies, said that this direction aims to enhance the procedures facilitating journalists' access to the necessary information within the existing legal frameworks.
The letter emphasized the necessity for ministries, institutions, and government bodies to ensure that media spokespersons interact with journalistic queries and provide the media with the necessary clarifications to complete the information, thus contributing to presenting clear media content that strengthens trust in official information, disseminates facts, and counters inaccurate and misleading information.
He explained that the Ministry of Government Communication, through the Directorate of Planning and Coordination and media spokespersons, follows up daily with the network of media spokespersons on various media issues and works to ensure continuous clarifications and follow-ups with journalists and media professionals.
