Khaberni - The Business College at Zaytoona University in Jordan organized a specialized awareness session presented by the team of the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company (JoPACC), with the presence of faculty members and college students.
The session covered the introduction to JoPACC services, and the Financial Technology Center "Join", alongside the digital payment system in Jordan. The session aimed to raise awareness among students about the areas of financial technology, highlight the available opportunities and services that contribute to their academic and professional empowerment, and enhance their understanding of the recent developments in payment systems and digital financial services.
The session included several key topics, including an introduction to the Jordanian Payment and Clearing Systems Company and its role in developing the payment infrastructure in the kingdom, a review of the financial technology sector and its growing importance in supporting the economy and innovation, and an introduction to the "Join" program and its role in supporting entrepreneurial students and enabling them to turn their ideas into viable projects.
At the end of the session, the organizers emphasized the importance of enhancing the partnership between the academic sector and specialized national institutions, which contributes to preparing young qualified cadres capable of keeping up with the digital transformation and innovation in the financial sector, and enhances students' readiness for the job market and entrepreneurship.
