Khaberni - Actress Wafaa Amer commented on the crisis of the offensive photo of Reham Abdel Ghaffour, during her attendance at the special screening of the movie "New Year's Eve Map", where she made sure to send a supportive message to her, stating that Reham is a strong artist and will take her rights by law.
Wafaa stated during press statements: "Reham is a great artistic asset, and we will remain as we are; we are not doing anything wrong."
She added: "Reham doesn't need support, she is a strong person and will know how to take her rights from those who insulted her."
Wafaa Amer faces accusations of defamation and privacy violation
Wafaa Amer was accused by a journalist named Fathy Soliman of violating his privacy and defaming him, following her recording a phone call with him and sending it to a lawyer, who then published it on various social media pages without his permission.
Soliman officially filed a report and instructed counselor Yasser Kantoush, a lawyer at the Court of Cassation and the Supreme Constitutional Court, to continue with legal proceedings against the artist and one of the lawyers.
Soliman stated in a press release that he had handed his legal advisor important evidence and documents that will reveal the truth to the public regarding several controversial issues surrounding Wafaa Amer recently.
