Khaberni - Iraq recorded four tragic suicide incidents today, Saturday, in both Baghdad and Diyala, while investigations are still ongoing to determine the causes amidst a wide social controversy.
The Iraqi capital Baghdad alone witnessed 3 suicide cases in different areas, while the security forces have opened extensive investigations to find out the circumstances and motives of these incidents, according to a security source.
According to local media reports, one of the security centers received a report about a person who committed suicide by hanging himself in his room at his home in Al-Hurriya area north of Baghdad.
It added that another security center recorded a similar incident where a young man committed suicide in the same way at his home in Al-Shula city north of the capital.

In a third incident, the source reported that a young man threw himself from the top of the Al-Aimmah bridge in the Al-Kadhimiya area north of Baghdad, noting that a security force managed to retrieve the body and transfer it to the forensic medicine department, with an investigation opened to determine the causes of the incident.
In related context, a security source in Diyala province for the Iraqi National News Agency (NINA), announced a fourth suicide case, where the son of the former director of water resources in Al-Muqdadiyah district committed suicide by hanging himself inside his grandfather's house in Al-Umrania area northeast of Baqubah.
The source, in a statement to a reporter, said that the young man committed suicide days after he had killed his father, noting that preliminary investigations indicate he was suffering from psychological issues.
Also, a security source had announced, last Sunday, the killing of an Iraqi official by his son, in an incident that sparked widespread controversy in the province.
The security agencies confirmed the continuation of investigations in all cases to uncover the circumstances and take the necessary legal actions.
