Khaberni - The Kingdom continues on Sunday under the impact of the cold and humid air mass associated with the low-pressure system, with more temperature decreases occurring, and the weather will be cold, cloudy, and rainy in most areas of the Kingdom. Morning rainfall in the north, central, and southwestern regions may be heavy at times, accompanied by thunder and hail.
The winds will be westerly and active, with strong gusts occasionally reaching speeds between (50-60) km/h, causing dust storms in desert areas. Gradually, during the evening and night, the intensity of the rainfall will weaken.
The meteorological department warns of the potential for flash floods during the morning hours in valleys and low-lying areas in the north and central parts of the Kingdom and parts of the southwestern regions including the Dead Sea area. There are also warnings of the danger posed by strong wind speeds and the accompanying strong gusts, the reduction of horizontal visibility due to dust in desert areas and its occasional absence on desert roads, the reduced visibility due to fog and low clouds touching the ground particularly over mountainous highlands and plains, and the risk of slipping on roads experiencing rainfall.
Maximum and minimum temperatures in East Amman today range between 10 - 7 degrees Celsius, in West Amman 8 - 5, in the northern highlands 6 - 4, in the Sharah highlands 7 - 3, in the desert areas 14 - 4, in the plains areas 11 - 7, in the northern Jordan Valley 17 - 9, in the southern Jordan Valley 20 - 9, in the Dead Sea 19 - 11, and in the Gulf of Aqaba 20 - 10 degrees Celsius.
The Meteorological Department said that the Kingdom is expected to be affected by a new low-pressure system on Monday with predictions of heavy rainfalls.
In detail, the Kingdom will be affected by another low-pressure system on Monday, centered to the east of Cyprus Island, and the weather will be cold and cloudy with renewed rainfall in the north, center, some eastern and southwestern parts of the Kingdom. It is expected, God willing, that the rain will be heavy at times in the north, center, and some southwestern parts of the Kingdom, possibly accompanied by thunderstorms and hail.

There is a possibility in the morning hours of light rain showers in parts of the north and center of the Kingdom, while winds will be moderate southwesterly, intensifying occasionally.
On Wednesday, there will be a slight rise in temperatures, yet the weather will remain cold in most areas, and mild in temperature in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba, with some clouds appearing at various altitudes. Winds will be moderate southwesterly, intensifying occasionally.
