Iraqi Prime Minister There is no longer any justification for foreign forces to be in our country

Khaberni  - Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed on Saturday evening that there is no longer any justification for foreign forces to remain in Iraq, and the constitution stipulates that there should be no weapons outside the security forces.

Al-Sudani added during a television interview: "The absence of weapons outside the security forces is one of the most prominent decisions included in the government program", explaining that the agreement to restrict weapons to the state is not a result of a statement by a state or envoy or request, but it is part of our governmental program.

He confirmed in his statements that this file is one of the upcoming entitlements and all national parties agree on addressing it.

Al-Sudani continued saying: "In a few days, our armed forces will fully take over Ain al-Asad base (from the American forces), and the second phase concerns Harir base".

The Prime Minister emphasized that Baghdad is not subject to any opinions or desires or moods of others, clarifying that Iraq's problems are solved by Iraqi decisions only, and this is the best method.

He also pointed out in this context that the American side understands this matter and is keen on Iraq's stability.
