Khaberni - As part of Arab Amman University's commitment to enhancing its academic and research presence at regional and international scientific forums, the IT Faculty participated in the 26th International Arab Conference on Information Technology (26th International Arab Conference on Information Technology - ACIT 2025), held at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport in Alexandria, Egypt, with the participation of a select group of academics and researchers from various Arab countries.
Representing Arab Amman University at the conference, Dr. Ayman Ghaben, a faculty member from the Information Technology College, presented a paper titled: "Comparative Analysis of WebEx, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Google Meet in Terms of Features and Security", which included a comparative analysis of prominent virtual meeting platforms used in the fields of education and remote work, in terms of technical features and security levels. The conference provided an important scientific platform for exchanging research experiences and discussing the latest trends and developments in information technology and digital transformation.
In this regard, Dr. Rami Sahweil, Dean of the Information Technology College, emphasized that the college's participation in such specialized scientific conferences aligns with Arab Amman University's vision to support applied scientific research, encourage faculty members to publish their work and actively participate in regional and international conferences, thus enhancing the university's academic reputation and keeping pace with the rapid developments in the information technology sector. Dr. Ayman also expressed his gratitude to the university administration for their continuous support of scientific research and for the opportunity to participate in this distinguished conference, appreciating the efforts of the organizers.
