Funeral of the Victims of a Mosque Bombing in Wadi alDhahab Neighborhood in Homs

Khaberni - On Saturday, the bodies of the victims of the terrorist bombing that occurred on Friday at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dhahab neighborhood in Homs were buried with widespread popular and official participation, amid an atmosphere of sadness and anger.

On Friday, at least 8 people were killed and 18 others injured due to an explosion that occurred inside the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in the Wadi al-Dhahab neighborhood in Homs.

A Syrian security source told the "SANA" agency that initial investigations indicate that the explosion was caused by explosive devices planted inside the mosque.

The terrorist group "Saraya Ansar al-Sunna" claimed responsibility for the bombing in a statement, saying they planted explosive devices inside the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in Homs, Syria.

The group stated on the Telegram application that they detonated the devices in cooperation with militants from another group.
