Khaberni - The Kingdom's reporter said on Saturday that the Israeli occupation army has imposed a siege on several Palestinian villages west of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
Since Saturday morning, the Israeli occupation forces have closed the entrances to villages and towns north and west of Ramallah.
The occupation forces also closed the main gate of the entrance to the village of Ni'lin, preventing Palestinians and vehicles from entering or leaving.
Concurrently, the occupation forces closed the gate leading to the village of Kharbtha Bani Harith, preventing Palestinians from entering or exiting, causing a traffic crisis.
The Atara military checkpoint has also been closed since the early morning hours, causing disruption to the movement of Palestinians, especially those coming from and leaving villages and towns northwest and west of Ramallah, as well as from the northern governorates.
According to a report issued by the Anti-Wall and Settlement Commission in October, the total number of permanent and temporary checkpoints that divide the Palestinian territories reached a total of 916, including 243 iron gates installed after October 7, 2023.
