Khaberni - Dr. Zaid Ibrahim Al-Kilani, the Secretary General of the General Fatwa Department, answered during the Friday sermon yesterday, the question: What do our enemies want from smuggling drugs into Jordan?
Al-Kilani said that drugs are one of the main reasons for the destruction of families, and according to crime statistics worldwide, drugs are always present.
He added that Allah Almighty said, "Satan only wants to cause between you animosity and hatred through intoxicants and gambling," thus the loss of reason leads to enmity and strife, disputes, and crime.
He explained that those who try to bring in drugs, promote them, spread them, and trivialize it to our children and youth, are not only after financial gain, but these gangs have strategic dimensions, including destabilizing security and stability.
He affirmed that this scourge is a war on morals and values, as there are those who profit from the loss of security and ethics.
