Khaberni - The Kuwaiti Minister of Health, Dr. Ahmed Al-Awadhi, issued Ministerial Decision No. 354 for the year 2025, dated 2025/12/25, which orders the closure of Royal Pharmacy and the cancellation of its license.
Article One of the ministerial decision stipulates the cancellation of License No. (3500081) granted to Royal Pharmacy based on item ten of Article Two of Ministerial Decision No. 327 for the year 2025.
Article Two states: This decision shall be communicated to the necessary parties for implementation, effective from its date, and all decisions or provisions that conflict with its terms are hereby revoked.
In this context, the Minister of Health addressed the Minister of Commerce, Khalifa Al-Ajeel, with the ministerial decision to “instruct the necessary parties to close the mentioned pharmacy, in compliance with the ministerial decision”.
He said: “We also request that necessary actions be taken regarding the cancellation of the trade license related to that pharmacy and all licenses and approvals issued by you, whether concerning advertising licenses, electronic platforms, or the right to use the trademark issued to this pharmacy or other files related to it, according to your usual procedures, and to instruct the necessary parties to inform us of what has been done in this matter, considering the issue important and urgent.”
