Khaberni - The Syrian Ministry of Defense said early Saturday, that border guard units had arrested 12 individuals at the Syrian-Lebanese border, among them some remnants of Assad's forces.
The Syrian Defense stated that among those arrested were elements and officers linked to the previous regime.
It mentioned in its statement that the detainees will be handed over to the competent authorities to take the necessary actions.
